What should I expect from Facials?

Reneux’s Signature Spa Facial is a 60 minute experience. Prior to starting, our esthetician will assess your skin and discuss your goals and concerns. During treatment, a combination of cleansing, exfoliating, masking, steaming, hydration, extractions, and massage elements are included depending on your needs. Set in a relaxing environment, our goal is to make you comfortable and at ease while our esthetician takes care of your skin.

How safe are Facials?

The facials offered at Reneux are extremely safe as they are performed by our experienced, licensed esthetician. She will take into consideration your skin history and any known allergies as well as carefully monitor your skin’s response throughout treatment. Facials are also one of the few treatments that are safe for pregnant women and those who are currently breast-feeding.

How long until I see results from a Facial?

Immediately following your facial, you should be relaxed and your skin will feel deep cleaned, pampered, and nourished. If extractions were performed, you will see optimum results a few days after extractions have time to heal.

How long do Facial results last?

Results vary depending on your lifestyle and at-home skin care regimen. With regular use of a recommended at-home skin care regimen, you may be able to maintain the results of your facial for weeks after. Regular, monthly facials are recommended for best results as your skin changes depending on the season and other environmental factors.

Are there any side effects of Facials?

Generally there are no significant side effects from facials. However, you may experience temporary redness depending on your skin’s response. Also, due to the deep cleansing and extractions performed during your facial, you may experience a breakout post-treatment as purging of the skin may result.
